See below for suggested theme tours that we've already delivered to our customers.  Other ideas include an African American Heritage Tour, Underground Railroad Tour, Philadelphia Theatres Tour, Public Art and Murals Tour, Fairmount Park Mansions Tour, and many more.

Rocky Movie Location Tour
A half day Rocky tour that includes great neighborhood areas of South and North Philly, as well as many of the Center City tourist areas. 4 of the 6 Rocky movies were filmed in Philadelphia, including the first, Rocky, and the last, Rocky Balboa. You’ll get to see the pet shop, the gym, rocky’s apartment, Paulie’s house, the Italian Market, Pat’s Steak House, Adrian’s restaurant, City Hall, the famous “Rocky steps” in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, the Schuylkill river and Adrian’s grave site. Buy a Philly Cheese Steak, walk in the Italian Market, walk in his footsteps and take photos along the way.

Philadelphia Churches Tour

So much of the history of Philadelphia was formed by its churches.  When William Penn first arrived to build the city he was determined to welcome any and all denominations, to ensure that the persecution he had known was not copied here.  As a result, many different religious groups set up home here and there are many historic churches in a small area.  As well, the first African Methodist Episcopal Church, the Mother Bethel A.M.E Church was established here by Richard Allen in 1794.  You’ll get to see as many churches as we can fit in the time, inside and out, choosing from Christ Church, where George Washington, John Adams and Betsy Ross all worshipped, St. George’s Methodist, St. Augustine’s Catholic, Arch Street Meeting House, the largest Quaker Meeting House in the world, Mother Bethel, St. Peter’s, The Pine Street Presbyterian, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter & St. Paul, and many others.

South Philly Tour
One of the most vibrant, eclectic, historic and fascinating neighborhoods in the city is bounded by South Street to the north, the sports stadiums to the south, Broad Street to the west and the Delaware River to the east. This is where the Italian and Irish immigrants arrived in the 19th Century, the site of the oldest church in Philadelphia, Old Swede’s, and where Rocky ran. You’ll see vibrant market stalls, traditional Italian grocery stores, spice shops, bakeries and great restaurants and cafes. There are massive murals, up and coming shopping areas, and a fascinating sightseeing spot at the Magic Gardens, the work of Isaiah Zagar, which includes a fully mosaiced indoor gallery and a massive outdoor labyrinthine mosaic sculpture. Eat a Philly Cheese Steak and other local food, and wander among the locals from all corners of the world.
