City Tour
No matter how long you have in the city we can arrange a Philadelphia tour for you, tailored to meet your needs. Visit the historic district, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Fairmount Park, take photos of our great public art collection and fantastic murals, grab a cheesesteak or a fancy lunch and stroll through a museum, a park or one of our neighborhoods, and we’ll show you the best spots to view Philadelphia's City skyline. All of this with pick-up and drop-off at a place convenient to you. We can be your guide for a whistle-stop 2 hours, a fun-filled half day or a relaxed, educational and highly entertaining full day.

Walking Tours

Awfully Nice Tours is now the exclusive operator for Urban Adventures in Philadelphia, providing authentic tours of various parts of the City and giving travelers and locals a unique experience.  Starting at the beginning of April you will be able to take walking (and public transport) tours of South Philly, Society Hill and the entire city from river to river!

Lancaster / Amish Tour
About an hour out of town is Lancaster County, home to the Amish people. You'll love the Amish tour and Lancaster County sightseeing.  Above all, the countryside here is serene, picturesque and filled with interesting local life. Our half-day and full-day tours can include an introductory movie, visits to an Amish Village museum, country bakery and a quilt store, as well as a ride on an Amish buggy. Depending on your preference, eat at a local restaurant, either a la carte or family style. And all of this with a guide who can fill you in on so much of the history and culture.

Valley Forge Tour
During the winter of 1777/1778, after the battle of Brandywine, the British Army occupied the City of Philadelphia and the Continental Army moved in their headquarters in Valley Forge. This is a truly beautiful National Historic Park, where there is much to see and admire. Your tour will include a drive around the park, visits to historic sites such as the house used by George Washington and the Washington Memorial Chapel, as well as a chance to see the fascinating Visitor Center with its educational exhibits and movie. Our tour here takes about 4 hours and can be included in a full day that includes the city, Brandywine Valley or Lancaster County.

Brandywine Tour
About 45 minutes out of the city is the idyllic landscape that makes up the Brandywine Valley. Here you’ll find Longwood Gardens, the Winterthur Country Museum & Estate, Hagley Museum, Nemours Estate, the Brandywine River Museum (home to much of the Wyeth family’s art), the Brandywine Battlefield Park, Chadd’s Ford Winery and much, much more. You’ll need a full day to do it justice.

Delaware Valley Tour
Historically famous for the Washington Crossing State Parks, Trenton Barracks and Princeton, and now a wonderfully scenic area that includes fascinating villages such as New Hope, Lambertville, Frenchtown and Yardley. Visit the history, shop for boutique clothes, antiques or art, dine at characterful pubs and restaurants and take a glorious trip in a tube or canoe on the river itself. You will return more aware of the natural beauty of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Themed Tours
As well as these and many more pre-designed tours, we also offer themed tours of the area that include a Rocky Movie Locations Tour, Philadelphia Churches, and City Murals and Public Art, African American Heritage and the Underground Railroad. Or tell us what you’re interested in and we will customize a tour especially for you. After all that’s how this list was devised in the first place!!
